| Ok, so it was brought to my attention today that I haven't posted anything on here in like six months. Life has been rough in those last six months. I've kept most of it hidden, even my closest of friends have no idea that anything is going on. I confess, anyone can fake a smile. I just choose not to be so depressed over it. One of the songs I love the most is by Twila Paris (she was a pk too), it's The Warrior is a Child. The song breaks me most every time I hear it. "People say that I'm amazing and never face retreat, oh no, but they don't see the enemy that lays me at His feet. They don't know that I go running home when I fall down, they don't know who picks me up when no one is around. I drop my sword and cry for just a while, cause deep inside this armor, the warrior is a child." That song is amazing! I have to remember the verses in James chapter one..." Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." I can't complain about anything in my life, not now and not ever. You may ask me why. Why? Because there is a God that loves me and sent His Son Jesus to die in my stead, to suffer in my place so that I could live with Him forever, in a place of no suffering or tears or hate or wickedness! Philippians 2:14 "Do everything without complaining or arguing..." I live because He lives! How then can I mope around forsaking His promises? Christ loves me! My life is dedicated to Him! Guys, go out and live as if there were no tomorrow! Don't waste a minute! "I wish the ring had never come to me, I wish none of this had ever happened" -Frodo "So do all who live to see such times but that is not for them to decide, all we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us." Gandolf
"But I expect they had lots of chances, like us, of turning back, only they didn't. And if they had, we shouldn't know, because they'd have been forgotten. We hear about those as just went on - and not all to a good end mind you: at least not to what folk inside and not outside it call a good end. But those aren't always the best tales to hear, though they may be the best tales to get landed in." Samwise Gamgee (Lord of the Rings)
